Tutoring Terms & Conditions

The following terms & conditions are in place to ensure ongoing good working relationships between Summit Maths Tutor and all who engage with Summit Maths Tutor's services. By accepting these Terms & Conditions you are committing to adhering to these terms & conditions.

Booking sessions

Tutoring sessions must be booked at least 2 days before the session you are booking.

Cancellations and Refunds

If for any reason you are unable to attend your booked session, you must give notice that you will be unable to attend the session by emailing drs@summitmathstutor.com.
If you give notice 5 days or more before the session in question you will receive a full refund for the session.
If you give between 3 and 5 days' notice you will receive a 50% refund on that session.
If you give fewer than 3 days' notice you will not receive a refund.
We understand that last-minute cancellations may be unavoidable. Therefore, rather than cancelling you may choose to work with Summit Maths Tutor to find another date and time that works for you, and reschedule your booking. In this case, no refund will be given, but every effort will be made by Summit Maths Tutor to find a date and time that works for you, subject to Summit Maths Tutor's availability.
All refunds are given at the discretion of Summit Maths Tutor.

Discounts and Offers

Misuse of discounts and offers on Summit Maths Tutor services will not be tolerated. Misuse equates to applying discount codes to which you are not entitled. Correct use of discount codes is clearly explained on the Discounts page of summitmathstutors.com. If you are found to have misused any of the discounts or offers made available to Summit Maths Tutor customers, you will be required to pay the remaining fee before receiving the tuition you booked. In addition, your access to discounts and offers going forward will be rescinded.

Acceptable behaviour

If Summit Maths Tutor customers (students and their responsible adults) behave in a way found to be unacceptable by the tutor, Summit Maths Tutor will contact the responsible adult to set out in writing what behaviour has been deemed unacceptable.
After the third instance of unacceptable behaviour, Summit Maths Tutor has the right to refuse further tutoring. No refunds will be given for sessions already booked.
